After another long hiatus, I've decided to dust off my blog yet again! Don't worry- I've been doing a lot of cooking and eating during this hiatus, but just haven't been blogging about it!
My 2019 New Year's Resolution was to try out 50 new recipes, but I didn't really do a great job of keeping track, so I'm not actually sure if I made it or not! So this year, I'll try sticking to the same goal, but this time get a record of my recipe attempts through this blog.
And to start of 2020 with a bang, my sister and I are doing the Whole30 together starting tomorrow! So my first few recipes of 2020 will be Whole30 compliant. I'm also hoping that blogging about my Whole30 experience will encourage me to stick with it! It's a pretty restrictive way of eating, so I'm not sure how it'll go!
Another major update since the last time I've blogged on a regular basis: I started eating meat again! So while one of the major themes of this blog when I first started (in 2008??) was to transform non-vegetarian recipes into vegetarian and vegan-friendly versions, that will no longer be a top priority. However, I do still have vegetarian and vegan friends, so I will still experiment with veg-recipes from time to time. Now that there are so many more veg alternatives in the market, it's much easier to create vegetarian-friendly dishes than they were when I first started blogging!
Anyways, stay tuned as I start off 2020 blogging about my Whole30 experiences and recipes!
